Our Story

At BAYA — Beautiful As You Are our team is more than a group of staff and volunteers. We are mentors, advocates, and dream builders who believe every girl deserves to see her worth and walk boldly in it.

What began as one mother’s mission to help her daughter heal has grown into a powerful movement reaching hundreds of girls each month across Kentuckiana. Today, Team BAYA is made up of passionate women from all walks of life, educators, counselors, artists, life coaches, mothers, and community leaders all united by a shared purpose: to empower girls to love who they are, discover their voice, and rewrite their story.

Together, we create safe spaces where girls can express, explore, and evolve. Whether it’s through in-school programming, art and music therapy, decompression workshops, or self-love retreats, our team pours into every girl with compassion, creativity, and connection.
